Spoonies Unite

Candice Youngblood is a lawyer who is passionate about giving communities the tools they need to thrive in their environmental health. We chat about Candice's personal experience with environmental racism and how she's using her experience to empower the youth of today with information so that they can make a change in her project, Youth on Root. Candice didn't have a project fully formed when she applied to be an Aerie changemaker - she simply had an idea and a passion to make a difference. If you too have an idea just starting to develop, or one that's fully-fledged out, we highly recommend you apply to be part of the 2021 Aerie Changemakers. The deadline is April 11th, 2021 and you can apply here.
